Double page spread changes

This was my initial front cover but after getting audience feedback I decided to re arrange and compose a new and more attractive double page spread. My target audience suggested that I could not make enough out of the text; I recomposed my article which is now much more applicable to my target audience.

In order to perfect my new front cover I changed the article, text size, quotes and added new features such as the interviewer and the photographer. I have also edited my image of the model. I have made the image lighter which makes the model's facial expressions to be clearer and it also makes the background stand out.

My next step was to add an inspiring quote which describes the DJ and tell the audience more about him and his personality.

My next step in order to complete my double page was to insert a title which relates to my article.

'The rise of love featuring EDM'. EDM; electronic dance music.

I have also edited the image on adobe Photoshop, I have cropped it and the contrast has been altered in order for the model's features to be seen and for the image to be more pleasing.

This was the photo that I was going to include in my contents page, but the image is not in good quality and you can only see the crowd but not the DJ.

My second step of completing my double page spread was to take a photo and edit it. This is the original photograph that I took, then I inserted it into adobe Photoshop in order to edit it.

Changes to front cover

I have added  a banner across the top in order to make it look better and it also gave me the opportunity to include the @Hausofnow social media accounts.As this is what my target audience suggested

I added a black banner on top of the page in order to advertise @hausofnow on social media, and then made the 'haus of now' title larger so its more appealing to the customers.

Start of double page spread

To start off my double page spread, I inserted my article into Adobe InDesign, and designed banners which will go around my double page spread in order for my double page spread to be more aesthetically pleasing.
